Absolute SCUBA is the brain child of two seasoned Dive Industry professionals, Seemant Saxena and Siddharth Pujari. Between them, they share a collective experience of over 15 years in the Dive Training, Scuba Certification and Dive Travel business.

Seemant SAXENA

A former Hotelier, Seemant passionately lives and breathes life into his Scuba dreams with Absolute Scuba.

He surrendered to the calling from the Deep in 2002 when he first landed on the magical shores of the Lakshadweep Islands; a hidden world full of stunning coral reefs deep in the heart of the Arabian Sea.

Discovering diving with Lacadives, Seemant took the plunge at Bangaram & Kadmat islands and hasn’t looked back since.

A decade of diving later, Seemant had dived, travelled and instructed extensively. His love for diving has taken him from the Lakshadweep to the Andaman Islands as well as Thailand and the shores of Goa and Netrani Island.

As part of an elite group of Instructors with both CMAS & PADI qualifications, he embodies the best philosophies from both of these legendary Federations. With over 300 incident free certifications and more than 3000 dives to his credit, Seemant integrates an informative, safety-oriented and fun approach to his diving, making him a pleasure to learn and dive with.

10 years of magical and life-altering encounters with the magnificent residents of the Oceans have only strengthened his resolve to evolve into a fish!

Siddharth PUJARI CMAS One Star Diver (IND000P108000066) / PADI Advanced Open Water & EANx Diver (1201AT5464) After a MBA Degree from Welingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai and 7 years of SCUBA Training & Travel industry experience, Siddharth continues to apply his skills and improve on his extensive experience. With 4 years of Travel Trade background, Siddharth joined Lacadives in 2005 as the Manager – Mainland Operations & Marketing. His passion for the Oceans along with a keen, smart-working and result-oriented mindset is what won him applaud from International SCUBA Operators, Manufacturers and even Marine Conservation Organizations.

He introduced ALL of the present management modules at Lacadives related to Operations, Financials, Database collection, Analytics, Marketing, Tie up’s etc. thereby taking the Firm to Higher Ground. It all started with a stellar first dive (as always) where he rubbed noses with Dolphins, sharks and turtles on day one. Since then, he’s notched up over 350 dives, is an avid diver and understands the requirements of all levels of divers whilst planning their dive holidays. With 7 years of hard-core experience to his credit in India’s vibrant Scuba Diving industry, Siddharth is an asset to the industry and sport alike. He brings the much-required mix of urban smartness with heartfelt passion to Absolute Scuba wherein his qualities will benefit all. A meticulous planner and a People’s person, Siddharth is at the core of all that Absolute Scuba stands for. The passion for Diving and his sensibilities in the logistics of a Dive Operation make him the perfect half to everything that is Absolute … Scuba !

Dakshin Foundation

Dakshin Foundation is a non-profit registered organization which locates its philosophies, approaches and programmes at the crossroads of India’s conservation and development paths. Adopting an affiliation to the “Global South” encourages them to focus on the influences, nature and consequences of pursuing either path for India’s peoples and habitats. Members of Dakshin have worked over the last decade on a range of conservation and developmental concerns, in both terrestrial and marine systems, through research and intervention.

Combining their skills in the disciplines of the natural and social sciences, Dakshin’s approach towards understanding and addressing environmental problems involve intellectual and practical engagements with social, political and institutional change. In coastal and marine systems on the Indian mainland and island groups, their work focuses on resource monitoring, governance and education.

ReefWatch Marine Conservation

Established in 1993 as a non-profit Research and Education Organization registered as a Public Charitable Trust under the Societies Registration Act, Reef Watch Marine Conservation has been engaged in research projects & Education awareness initiatives for the conservation of marine ecosystems.

ReefWatch Marine Conservation is a Non-Government Organization (NGO) with a research-based agenda on Marine Conservation and Environment. Established by Co-Founders Mitali & Prahlad Kakar, RWMC is dedicated to the protection of India's Marine heritage. RWMC's efforts have put many coral species and marine fauna under the Wildlife Protection Act, and was a nominated Member of the National Board for Wildlife, Govt. of India in May 2007.

Project AWARE

The Project AWARE Specialty program is a non-diving program designed to familiarize divers and non-divers with the plight of aquatic ecosystems around the world. It also describes what individuals can do to help protect aquatic resources. Thus, the goals of this course are to familiarize participants with:

-	The role Project AWARE Foundation plays in protecting aquatic ecosystems worldwide.
-	The importance, and the interdependent nature, of aquatic ecosystems.
-	The pertinent issues concerning the environmental status of underwater environments, such as pollution, fisheries and coastal zone management.
-	Information needed to take specific actions to help conserve underwater environments.
