Getting Started
You have to understand that a “certified” diver is one who has completed an Internationally recognized scuba diving course from one or more of the few major Diving Federations (PADI, CMAS, NAUI, SSI etc.)
Contrary to popular belief, there is no such thing as a “Deep Sea diver “ ☺. And No, divers don’t breathe Oxygen (just regular compressed Air)
These courses follow a prescribed syllabus and adhere to standards set by the Federation. A certification from any of these Federations is globally accepted as your Diving License or the Certification Card.
All Scuba certifications have a perfect mix of 3 modules to follow:

- Complete your Pool /confined water sessions as well as Theory over a flexible schedule with round-the-week-availability. You get to set the pace. Receive a PADI or CMAS “Referral” detailing the modules you have completed and the remaining to be finished (usually only the open water dives). Complete the certification course over planned get-aways to a range of destinations in and outside of India.
- Decide on where you want to go depending on Budgets, Diving Seasons or simply on the days you can get away for. Go ahead... The Blue is the Limit!

PADI’s new “e-Manual” is a great way to finish your Dive Theory online. And at your pace. PADI offers a range of Certification course Theory through the e-learning option. All one has to do is complete the Theory modules online and sign up for Pool sessions. This is ideal for working or time-crunched folks. And cheaper too!
- Please download the Medical Statement form, which goes over a medical checklist for any health-related concerns about diving. If you answer "yes" to any of the questions there, you are required to get medical clearance from your doctor prior to commencing the course.
